The account balance will appear on the customer’s phone and also sent as SMS for further usage.
Checking of account balance using SMS method
Jaiz bank has a specific phone number (08055555700) to which her users can just send SMS to, so as to check their account balance using the specific format “BALANCE ACCTNO PIN”.
For example BALANCE 9876543210 4321 to 08055555700. The account balance will show on the customer’s phone screen without delay.
Also, customers can change their transaction pin through the SMS method by following this format “CHANGEPIN OLDPIN NEWPIN”
For example: Sending “CHANGEPIN 4321 1111” to 08055555700. The pin will be changed successfully.
